Level 4, Rocky Road

Alright, that might be a little out of my comfort zone. But maybe this fall or next spring/summer. If we have a good enough time, which I'm sure we will, I hope to make this an annual event. What do you guys think?

And maybe even change parks yearly? There's Flatnasty, Moonlight Racing, and Kansas Rocks, which is around Kansas City, right?

That would be a cool idea. Although, I think, if possible, we should do a trip every six months vice yearly.

You're a new dad aren't you? :cheesy: you'll understand our lifestyle in the near future. It's hard for us to get a weekend to ourselves, but we might be able to make it work. The thing is that our daughter has quite an arm on her for her age (and she seems to be a lefty) so we're hoping she'll fall into softball like my wife did. From what I gather from our friends who have grade schoolers, elementary sports eat up a lot of free time. But like I said, we might be able to make it work. At least Moonlight is only 45 minutes from home, we could make a day trip out of it.

If we do every 6 months, I think we should start that pattern next year, because if we start this year, it'd be December. Unless everyone is up for winter wheeling?

Well I hope you folks want to do this come September or October so I can go!

SMORR closes right after thanksgiving I think. Opens in February.

I am :yup: , and that's why I say every six months, gotta get outta the house! Haha. But it's understandable, once you have weekend sports to go to, definitely makes your free-time limited.

I would absolutely be down for a Christmas/New Years time-frame wheeling trip. :thumb: Like was said above, SMORR closes after turkey day and doesn't open 'til February. But Flat Nasty is open year round. Not sure about the other parks, though.

Even if we can't get a large group together, I wouldn't mind meeting up for a wheeling trip in the fall sometime.

Sounds good! We're definitely going down Friday morning. Like I said we're dropping the kids at daycare around 8:00-8:30 in Washington. Could meet in St. Clair around 9:00-9:30. Let me know your plans.

I live at HWY 100 and HWY 109 so I'll be coming down 100 to 44W. You still want to meet in St. Clair? I do have another friend coming as well, but he can't come out until Friday evening after work.

Our plans have changed, my wife is taking the kids to daycare then going to a doctors appointment, then we're planning on leaving from our house in New Haven. Could meet in Sullivan if the times work out. If say we could be in Sullivan by 11:00

Although I do want to wheel on Friday, I think that still gives us plenty of time. If we meet in Sullivan around 11, then we can still be at SMORR by 2ish. Could quickly set up camp and get on the trail.
