That’s interesting. Are they still pretty rigid or are they flimsy like razor blades? Like if necessary could you still defend yourself with it or just slice.

Caught the Bug
It’s a big scalpel blade, so it’s probably not a whole lot sturdier than a surgeons scalpel.
Wouldn’t be my pick for defense. I just like these and utility knives for certain jobs so I save my edges on my good knives.

My buddy turned me on to some of the knives he's buying recently and since I don't blow enough money on Jeeps, horses, trailers, guns and now bikes, why not start buying more knives too?
There are some really nice, high quality, relatively inexpensive knives out there. First batch I got today. :rolleyes2:

Picked up a few cool ones over the past couple months.
Benchmade's patents ran out on their locking design so a couple manufacturers have started using similar systems. My buddy got me this SOG knife. Pretty nice. I like it enough that I'm going to pick up a Benchmade now.
I'm also a sucker for the damascus blabes. I got this Civivi folder with the carbon fiber bolsters & micarta scales and also this Artisan with marbled carbon fiber scales & damascus blades. Lol, rhey're so good looking I hate carrying them cause I don't want to scuff them up.

I have the same fire pit.. works pretty good at keeping the smoke down.

It does.. but you have to get closer than a more low profile traditional pit, because of the solid double walled stainless... can't have everything I guess.
