My favorite AR15 we own.
This things a blast to shoot
Eotech sight with a 3x magnifier
BCM upper receiver
TM lower
BCM bolt carrier
Daniel Defense rail
Magpul stock

Here's an AK I built several years ago. Prety unique as it has a folding stock and no wood grain. It has a bipod, rails, attachment for tac light, scope has a laser and indigo blue reticle. It was a fun build an an AK is cheaper than an AR to build.

What scope is that? How do you like it?

NC Star. I love it! Shock proof. I used to be a member of a gun club and had this gun in the trunk flopping around when I worked on the road. So I could stop by the range after work and shoot for a little bit. For the thousands of miles I drove, I never had to adjust the scope once (when shooting at 100 yards). Cool looking and easy to use. Battery has been in it for 6 years now and hasn't had to be replaced. It was under 200 bucks if I remember right. AKs are one of the most inaccurate guns, but with this thing, I could put 20 rounds in a 3 inch circle at 100 yards. Very impressive scope. Most AKs don't have scopes either, but I wanted to have some fun with the build.

I took a look around but are the owners of eotech sights seen this information?

Thermal Drift - After zeroing the ECOS systems at or near ambient temperature (73°F), the zero position will shift during operating temperature changes. The ECOS systems have the potential to shift approximately +/- 4 Minutes of Angle (MOA) at -40°F and 122°F. Due to thermal drift, the sight may not return to zero. The systems have the potential of approximately a +/- 2 MOA zero shift upon return to ambient (73°F) after being exposed to any temperature between -40°F and 122°F temperatures. Impact to the operators is the sight zero will be affected at varying operating temperatures.

Dude, I'm on my 3rd beer.......too much science......all I know is that it flopped around in my trunk for several years and still shot straight at 100 yards. I could hit the 'B' on a Budweiser can. :D

Basically when zeroed at let's say 73 degrees. When it's in "Extremely" high or low temps it doesn't stay zeroed when back to 73 degrees.

The Sheriff's office no longer allows them as a sight on duty used weapons. Everyone that owned them had to remove them and qualify with iron sights.

I don't know if it affects all of them or just certain models/build dates.

Eotech is handing out refunds for them and covering shipping...

Besides it was projectmmtb that said he had an Eotech sight...

Much easier to understand, lol. Good info. Interesting.

This is my EDC. 4.5# Trigger Job and set sights to my 230 gr. Golden Sabre Load. It's a little hefty (Steel Frame) compared to a polymer pistol but I am used to it

I hope the pic comes through....I have had a tough time posting them.

I typically don't like to show my firearms, but I just picked this one up for competition.

Colt Competition in limited edition 'Battle Flag'. I added Troy FDE tritium battle sights and have a FDE MagPul CTR stock on its way. I also added the MagPul SL grip, but I'm not impressed with the way it fits so it's coming off and I'll likely try out the Troy grip. Still trying to figure out what optics I'm going to go with for tactical class 3 gun.

Give the MIAD Grip a shot. Lots of options on it and a LOT more palm swell than the SL. I really like mine.
