Scorpicon Build Thread

Great write up on the Trek Top, I was interested in how the install was on those... Cannot wait to get mine!

The King Bump Stops look badass, as always! Looking forward to seeing this rig "evolve"..

Very nice! Love the top install. Good little write up also.

I'm looking forward to seeing your coil-over install! It ought to be a fun time with Sharkey and MTG. lol

Thanks guys! If you have questions about the top install feel free to post em up here and I'll help you out. I also plan to document the coilover install as well. Stay tuned :p

Any updates on the build? I'm foaming at the mouth for the coilover set up. I'm considering a similar build.

No real updates, I ran all the wiring for my apilar lights and 20" bar for the front bumper but need to fabricate a bracket for the 1/4 pounder and buy the apilar brackets. I was out of the country for a while, and due to work I have been moving and living in my RV since my fender painting. Not having garage access, and RV park's strict no auto repair policy, has really halted the build for now, but I have a pile of parts waiting to be installed :yup:

That pile of parts must be driving you crazy.

I would have sold me jeep if that would ever happen to me. Thousands of dollars not in use. I wouldn't be able to take it

Eh, its not the most ideal situation, but I still have a Jeep and it would either be money sitting in the bank to buy them later or sitting here waiting to be installed. The good part is that I bought them with the intro offer where shipping was free and a free shirt. I installed that size XL many times :yup:

Free shirts....great mod because they are useful everywhere not just on the rocks and pavement.

Oh shit, look what brown Santa showed up with on my door step! Accidentally opened up my Christmas gift from my parents in Ohio thinking it was something I just ordered.

....also, I just got back from watching Thursday night football at the bar to find out that brown Santa dropped off my Poison Spyder A-pillar light mounts. Hope to install these in a day or so!
