RubiCAT Gettin EVO'd UP!!

Woohoo!! Just got a new package for RubiCAT :)

What exactly will this do? I've read mixed reviews on on CAIs of various models. Has anyone cracked the 2012 yet and is able to do a dyno?
 
in theory, a CAI will allow more air and cold air into your your engine and that should give you a boost in HP. the reality of it is, unless you install headers and a high flow muffler, the gains you will see will most likely be minimal. if i could guess, inital throttle response will feel a bit better and the sound of it will be nice but, i'm not holding my breath for any leaps and bounds in terms of performance gains. we'll see though.

regarding dyno's on a 2012, i've heard a lot of people say they've done it but, i've yet to see anyone post up hard numbers.

King Shocks showed pictures of a similar bump stop setup coming out soon. It is made for the traditional coil and shock setup that comes stock on the JK.

The New king Bump Stop is it disponnible for the sale? What is the number part for this new bump stop? Where is it disponnible for buy!

I think patients is needed. I have been waiting for this system since February. Still nothing. No updates either. Gets kind of tough to plan on something that isn't out for sale yet. Hopefully we will get an update soon on any of these parts not just coils or bump stops.
 
Off road evolution is a great bunch of guys. But patients is key with them. I ordered my rear tire carrier almost 3 weeks ago and when I called them its another 2 weeks out. But they make the best stuff, so I Waite. :). If they were jerks I wouldn't order from them no matter how good their stuff was.
 
Hey Eddie, whats the word with that Evo fairlead light plate? What size light bar can be mounted to it?? Looking to get one for my 1/4 pounder.

You know, I totally missed this back when you posted it up and I apologize for that. The light mount should be available now and you should contact EVO MFG on it.

very impressive thread !! Kept me up late but the info was worth it . I was ready to call them and ask for literature ??? Hope to talk to you guys soon maybe wheel when i get out your way !! :thumb: I think i have all the info i need but Eddie hope you dont mind a couple before i slam the buy hammer ? Thanx alot , Now i maybe able to go in the rt order for my build up on my suspension thanx again DANA :beer: PS : you did reinstall the muffler on the exhaust ? Any particular reason why ? See i started already :rock:

I did reinstall the muffler but only until I got around to installing a new Dynomax Evolution exhaust system.
 
Awesome Build, someday when I get back to the States and some money (Military does not pay enough for Jeep Upgrades and a Family, I have to do a little at a time) I will start doing some serious mods.
