I wasn't going to do this, but you forced my hand. Yes, there is a book. Several as a matter of fact. There is even a journal. I know it's hard for knuckle-dragging rock crawlers to comprehend because most of them are unable to even read, or so I've heard (get it? I'd have to hear about it because I can't read).
But enough of that, I have documented proof of the written word. Now, before I reveal the picture please note that such documented evidence, like proof of bigfoot, is often hard to capture in the field. Thus, my picture is a little blurry, but there are enough supporting artifacts in the picture that one can be certain of its authenticity. I apologize for the blurriness of the picture, I was so blown away by what I was seeing that my hands were shaking with the greatness with which I was near.

First: As you can tell, this rare photograph was taken at SEMA. Because where else would you find a place to show off the ruggedness of your overlanding equipment than at the Las Vegas Convention Center?
Second: one needed look further than the leather shoes, khaki pants with pockets and matching (almost) long sleeve shirt (it is Vegas after all) to know a true overlander when you see one.
Third: Over the shoulder messenger bag...nuff said.
Fourth and Finally: Latest edition of "OVERLAND" journal stuffed into said messenger bag...with the title facing out of course.
