RC update

The park is snow covered and icy. Probably will do what we did last
weekend, the West and NE are closed except to those capable of
self-recovery. They were last seen timbering in the area of Trail 2 last
weekend.

If RC is going to be anything like the mountains I live in, everyone is going to struggle, I see a lot of winching.... Not that I dont like a challenge, but when small hill grades become a problem. As in sliding into trees an going nowhere. lol I struggle on some local trails around here, the top of the snow kinda melted an re froze so its slick an jeep just wanted to slide an get no traction. Had to winch myself up a stupid little hill. Then to turn around to get off the trail was a nightmare. With a bunch of us, hopefully it will be more fun. Im sure it will lol
 
Just a heads up guys, if you need a cheaper option for a tow strap for this weekend, tractor supply has them for cheap and they have good reviews. I keep one with me and will prolly pick up one or 2 more tomorrow to have just incase.

Also guys check your winch cable and make sure its not frozen. Ive had my jeep in the garage due to that exact reason for this weekend.

I still won't be able to make it, but figured I'd chime in...Harbor Freight also has reasonable tow straps if you have one in your area.

It's nice for people that don't have winches (including me) to always have tow straps. And just incase anyone forgot... 2 MORE DAYS!

I mean i wouldnt worry to much, there will be enough people to help out. I think that we are going to have more of a mud problem at the bottom of op's. a big thing for people is going to be throttle control and keeping even speeds.
 
I was hoping to make this one, not going to happen. I have to repair the roof of my garage and have some help coming over on Saturday. Maybe there will be another in the not too distant future? hint hint.

PS is anyone going to the Big Dogs Ice Breaker?
