RAUSCH CREEK TRIP 10/26-10/27 (GREENS/BLUES with a touch of BLACKS)

Thanks for all the info and allowing me time to devise potential precautionary measures that may be necessary due to I was not there but curious how you ended up with 5-6 packs of "half used" hot dog BAGS. This trip is starting to sound like one that might go in the record books.

As far as American Honey...I gave up drinking about 3 years ago. After drinking my weight in booze annually for about 25 years I thought my liver needed a break. But not drinking hasn't stopped me from my normal insanity, it is just sober insanity now.

Basically, instead of taking a hot dog bun out of an open bag, we opened up a brand new bag to get a "fresh bun". Hey, it got the job done, so I don't judge.

Your sobriety may lead to your nomination as Fire Marshal Bill!

Bottom line, it is a great time with a great group of people. I only knew one person before I went on the last trip, and I had an incredible time with everyone.

Well upon further discussion Heahter seems to be ok with me driving up Saturday but she doesn't think that she will be up to it. So I may make it after all.

This is setting up to be the event of the fall. My kids are stoked to try some off- roading, and the wife is happy there will be some other women as well. I don't think she is to thrilled too be sleeping in a tent due to the fact it's going to be a little chilly at night but sleep is overrated.

So some of you know that my dog Wally chewed through his leash, Penelope's, and a ratchet strap. Well last night Heahter had a great plan. Next time we bring the dogs to Rausch I am hooking my tree saver and a climbing hook to Wally's harness. Lets see him chew through that :bleh:

CAMP Stevo, do. It.... I know you are close but you won't regret it

Lol if I do I can assure you my fraternity side will show by me peer pressuring all of us to drink way to much so that none of is can wheel the next morning. It's bound to happen lol

There's plenty of room at EV, so just come prepared to stay overnight. We talked Miss Boss and her fiancé Chris into staying last time, and that was DURING the storm!

Chris said he was pretty sure that she had planned on camping the entire time and he actually had no say :yup:

Hi everyone, I would like to go with you on the ride on the 26TH if you have room for one more. I have been to Raush Creek about five times in the last two years with another forum and did mostly green trails and I don't have a lot of experience. I can't camp because I work Friday evening and I have a family event that I have to go to on Sunday. Please add me to the list if you don't mind me going with you thanks.

Noone will ever mind another person coming, there is always room for one more. When we do this, if we have too many we will usually split up into 2 groups with one doing tougher stuff and the other doing easier stuff. Then about noon it is usually off to Lake Christy where we all meet for lunch.

I will not be bringing my better side....I don't know about camping but I always have the tent and sleeping bag...she says she is sorry to let mrs. Madness and the other girls down....but lucky you guys you get to spend the day with me again......wink

Anybody have the ARB engine/trans skid plate? If you do, was it a pain to install?

Ordered it today. Some say its kind of expensive, but when you consider that the evaporator skid is also included, the price is comparable to other quality skids.
