RAUSCH CREEK TRIP 10/26-10/27 (GREENS/BLUES with a touch of BLACKS)

Sounds good. Once I know for sure that I can make it I will I will post. I have never been there. Is there any requirements other than what is on the site I should make sure I meet? I am planning on installing my CB by then but still need to get the parts. I do not have a winch but tow points for sure.

Oh and I am all about the camping, if there is room at the campsite.

Nothing really anything required. We have tow straps and such even though no one should really have a problem.

Jethro,

I was SUPER on the fence about rolling with some of these guys and their rigs at a big off road park.

They swore up and down that I could take my stocker through the trails and ride her home, maybe even without a scratch. Im placing my trust in this great bunch of guys and so should you. COME ON DOWN!

Trust me you will be fine. You can always bypass any trails you might not want to hit but I don't think that is going to happen. I am stock except for tires, wheels and disconnects and these guys took care of me and my rig. You will have a blast with us.

Plenty of room at the campsite, and you are very welcome to join us, keep me posted and I will update the list :)

Awesome!! :thumb: I am about 90% sure I will make it. If you didn't know CT is "anti-offroading" :naw: and since I have been here at school I haven't did much since I left NM. I will keep you posted jkmadness on whether or not I am attending. Thanks, this trip has potential for some serious

Dr. are you bringing your meter for the cb? Also is there any chance I can borrow someone's get up to switch my computer to accommodate my larger tires? I don't know what it entails or if it is difficult but if I can borrow someone's that would be great. I don't know how they work. If it is a big deal I'll get my own eventually. Anyway I am getting stoked for this trip.

Yes I am bringing the meter for sure.

Sad to say that the programmers are one vehicle only.

Tom now Free

Guess maybe I should elaborate. The programmer will store the specific jeeos info on it and can only be used with that vehicle. In order to use it in another vehicle you must revert the previous one back to stock then it will work for the next vehicle. Not that technical of a description but its all I got.

I have a procal, it can be done I just have to reset it to factory settings to work on your vehicle no biggie

But then you will have to set his back to factory to set your back up. All the programmers are vin locked

That sucks....

Yea it does suck you can't share them but that's how the companies make money. Honestly tho it's worth it to have. A simple feature like the higher idle option for winching is very nice to have. If you get the superchips flashcal it will be upgradable at a later date they said so that you can do more than just simple computer fixes

It makes sense. One more thing one the wish list.

I had the super chips trail dash (got lucky and won it in a giveaway) and i actually used it to clear a code when one showed up after last trip. I can change drive settings like make my gas peddal les touchy which helps when on the rocks or monitor 9 different systems at once. Its a really cool setup and you can do most of these things with the much cheaper flashpaq also.

Superchips

I just got the Flashcal for mine last week. I'm a huge Superships fan. I have had their Flashpac's on my last and current truck. I like having the screen to view what I'm doing. I believe all programmers are VIN locked. I do know that Superchips are. Another nice thing is I set my TMPS to 15# so I won't have the light next time I'm aired down:clap2:

Yes they all are vin locked

Yea I liked how I could use my procal to set it to 0 so I wouldn't have to deal with it at all. I don't have the tpms in my black rocks so that was a plus being able to disable it

Oh. How rude of me. I'm new here. :standingwave: ill be down at rC this trip.

Sent from my phone while I should probably be getting work done

Just to be clear, I wasn't trying to be an @ss hat, just making an old man joke. But that being said, JKWrang, we are all looking forward to the trip and expanding the group!

Also, I seriously doubt we could fill the pavilion area at Echo Valley, but it would be cool if we did!

Yes, being able to get rid of it altogether is another nice thing. Anyone changing tire size should get some type of programmer
