Glad you'll be able to join us!

If you aren't camping Friday night, meet at Rausch Creek on the left side of the parking lot around 830a.

Fees for camping are $15/night/person I believe.

JKWrang, a group of us are meeting at Echo Valley Friday evening and setting up for the night. We'll leave EV around 7-7:30 for Breakfast @Burger King, then meet at RC around 8:30. After wheeling on Saturday, we'll head back to EV for dinner and fireside trash talking. A lot of of break camp Sunday morning for the drive home. Camping is $15 per night and be prepared to contribute to the firewood fund (~$8). You do NOT need any mods whatsoever on your Jeep. There are bypasses for a lot of trails, and this group is really good about looking out for each other. One thing I would definitely recommend is a CB, though. It will keep you informed on what is coming up, and you can partake in the trash talking on the trails. Plenty of time to get one and install it between now and then.

Keep your questions coming. We've all been "new" here. I'm STILL new!

Yea I'm STOKED to go. SWMBO wants to come but won't leave the baby overnight so maybe another time.

As of right now I'm a definite for Saturday. I'm a maybe for Sunday and totally camping.

I plan to grab a tow strap and fire extinguisher.... any CB suggestions? Last time I installed a little radio shack CB in my Dakota I got WICKED static and engine feedback. :(

I'm very happy with my Cobra WX ST set up. It's completely out of sight and out of the way when I'm not on the trails.

Just installed a Uniden for the last trip. Pretty cheap and works great.

I don't recall if you said you had a rubi or not wrang but if you don't i would highly recommend sway links.....wuick disco sway links are mich easier to remove than taking a couple wrenches in the parking lot at rausch and removing thrm that way. And you'll want to have your links removed so you can get better front end articulation

I was looking at the uniden. What antenna do yall use?
