Rausch Creek 10/03/15

If I don't do something colossally stupid on the NC run, I'm in.

Still the same stock (where it counts) 2 door Sport.

I'd like to challenge myself and gain experience so whatever color routes are not training wheels but not death traps is the group I would like to be with.

we can plan it out more once we have some final numbers. but ill put you in green for the moment.

Count me in. New rig. 37s, locked, armored up. Throw me in with the blacks

will do!

Interested but my work schedule does not go out that far yet. Greens and blues, experienced in TJ's, beginner to the JK, 35's lockers and winch. I'll know more in a couple weeks. Jeff

I have to have it done by tatas in August. I just hope I will have time to test it out before then.

Put me down for blacks.

1) your jeeps info: 3.5 lift on 37s, with winch.
2) your level: Advanced beginner, Low Level intermediate
3) what type of trails you would like to run: black
4) also add if you wouldn't mind being a group leader: No

We are out for this run.

I will be leading a group at Windrock the same weekend. Sorry guys! I already had the Windrock trip on my calendar and have too many interested people to feel comfortable backing out of that trip.

I will post a thread later (After the Rubicon), but if anyone down south can't make this trip I'd be happy to have you along with me.

Has anyone camped in the parking lot before? Would you do it again? And is this an appropriate time of year to attempt it?

No thanks, to much dirt from vehicle traffic on busy weekends.

They have been closing the trail entrance that cuts through the parking area, but this is still an issue for the hill-billies that turn their tires over in a hurry to get to the trail and go 1 MPH :cheesy:

The hotel is shitty enough it's just like camping

It's not quite that bad... But I do prefer the Hampton on the other side of the highway. This said, I tend to stay at the place where everyone else does for the after party :yup:

The hotel is cheap enough. But if you want to camp there is a nice camp ground in pine grove ten mins from hotel, 15-20 to park.
