saw an arm stick out to brace the tipping, wonder how that arm faired
If you play the video at half speed and look very closely you can actually see him push the earth away. Good save driver could have been much worse.saw an arm stick out to brace the tipping, wonder how that arm faired
We used to love nascar, then they homogenized the cars and the tracks… destroyed Bristol, destroyed everything that made its popularity soar.
I just like the Cars. LolWe used to love nascar, then they homogenized the cars and the tracks… destroyed Bristol, destroyed everything that made its popularity soar.
The new(er) way they race makes it impossible to watch. We used to love nascar, then they homogenized the cars and the tracks… destroyed Bristol, destroyed everything that made its popularity soar.
That’s awesome! We’ve been to a couple races too. Sears point, not calling it by it’s new name. One race we had full access pit passes. We spent most of the race in Gordon’s pit bc my wife had a thing for him. Was ok, Brooke, his wife back then was smokin hot and I spent a fair amount of time by her. Lol Pretty crazy using the same facilities as the drivers. Good times back then.I got hooked in the early 80's and watched up until 2005 or so. Been to a bunch of races and was here at the Hooters 500 in Atlanta for this fucking craziness. Looks cool but when these bastards are at eye level about 50 feet away from you it ain't so awesome! No pics of that shit because we were all about a half second from hitting the deck.
Once it got super popular in the late 90's it went downhill to the trash heap it is now.
The only good thing thats happened in NASCAR in the last 20 years

Yeah, that’s why I loved Bristol of old, it was old school. Rubbins, wrecks, hot tempers and fights.Yep, back when a pit pass was really a legit pit pass! She was a babe - too bad she turned out to be a gold digger. The old NASCAR was kinda like hockey in a way - not a mainstream deal & rough around the edges. When the white collar folks turned it into a popular sport it went downhill.
Wasn't Sears Point where someone launched off of a mound and disappeared? They were like, "where's so and so?" And they found the car off a hillside or something? Lol, gotta dig that out....
