My parents used to take me up to the Dana Point harbor quite a bit when I was really young, had a couple family friends up there and a couple with boats docked there too. Really cool area.

Think it’s changed much since that time? A lot can happen in a week and half.

We returned to Texas today from Arizona. We like to take secondary highways. There has been a tremendous amount of rain in Texas in the past day. On our way into Haskell, Texas, we encountered a Road Closed sign. The road was covered by deep water (maybe 1-1/2 feet at most) on and off for maybe a mile. Since there seemed to be no viable alternatives, we did some water fording today. I am glad that I was driving a Jeep!
