However I think his chain of command is definitely fucking him over. One of his unit leaders is lazy, ignorant- or both. The gear can be written off as a combat loss. There is basically nothing that cannot be done as long as you do the proper paperwork and have a high enough officer’s signature. Probably the first 0-5 in his chain of command. The guy is in a bad spot because of poor leadership. That really sucks but I’m not surprised.
