From all the "caught on video" crime scenes I've watched, the criminals always open carry and they must use their hand as the holster lol

Lol, open carry is plain dumb! If someone is intent on robbing a place and you’re open carry, you will be shot first. Concealed gives you time to take your time and to decide if you’re going to draw.

I have seen casual open carry in rural Arizona and New Mexico. I am not sure if New Mexico is even an open carry state.

I think open carry is a lot more comfortable but I still conceal around town.

If I'm on a jeep trail, it's 10mm time and that brick is open carry only for me.

If I'm headed into the woods on foot then I carry my little 30/30 lever gun in my hand. Oddly enough, the damn greenie's and other assorted snowflakes are less triggered by it (I'm guessing) because it resembles a Red Ryder BB gun. Lol...

Here in Va open carry is legal. Legal concealed carry requires governments permission. Va state police happily share that information with other states leading to folks with the CC permission slip to be harassed in Md and DC both states with no right to carry.
