PLANNING 2016 Windrock, TN - End of Summer Run

I'm not trying to be rude at all when I say this but this a East Coast thing. I don't think we should change our ways to accommodate the west coast guys.

I hear what you're saying and may be it becomes two separate events, but I'd really like to have more of an all encompassing event.

The cost of this trip seems to be increasing exponentially with every post. Guess I better start saving now.

If this isn't the right event to string this along with that's cool.

Andrew (noroad) and I kicked this idea around when we left the Rubicon. We can plan it as a separate (and possibly inclusive) thing if that is what is preferred.

Agree Completely but don't get me wrong this Road Trip thing is something I'd be alllll in for

I'm kinda liking the idea of a planned trek out for some folks hitting places along the way, all culminating at the end event. Or it could end up being two separate deals, but I like the idea of an event that gets everyone together. Cause I know I'd love to be able to meet, wheel with, and share a Honey with some of the West Coast members that I've communicated with here. I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels that way.

I hear ya'. The Rubicon was great.... but honestly, the largest part of what made it epic for us was meeting and hanging with REAL people and not just user names. I'd love to reciprocate the hospitality that was given to us.

That's kind of the beauty of this idea though. Those that want to do the whole thing can, those that want to do the main weekend event at one place can just do that or meet at any spot along the way.

That's my theory of this. To be able to open the east coast up to them.

I really don't like this comment at all! I think this goes against everything the forum is, if you want a divided up country go join jk freaks and there divisions.

I believe what he meant was we should plan it our way, and if west coast guys want to come that's fine.

I think this is getting a bit sideways.

Here is my plan: I will start a thread today for an "East Coast Tour". If thardy wants to help plan this (possible) event, great.

For now I will step aside and let the "End of Summer Run" continue as planned. Hopefully we can work the two together, but if not, no worries.

Sorry for the derail.

Andrew, while I completely agree with you, I don't believe that was the intent of his comment. I think Twisted is right on what the intent was.

Either way, my intentions with this event is to bring in as many members from all over. And if adding a road trip aspect to the event makes that possible, I'm all for it!

Don't be sorry. I love the idea and don't feel the need for a separate thread at this point. I was actually just about to PM you to discuss a few things. I think we're on to something.

You know man I appreciate your reply but that is exactly opposite what I'm trying to say. I love this road trip idea but they need to be separate events. The whole thing about this End of Summer run is getting everybody together and when you start splitting up the parties at different areas you don't get everybody in the same place which is what this whole thing is about.

your statement doesn't even make sense! who said anything about splitting up parties, and everybody in the same place as in what your home town???

You didn't have to try, you succeeded at being rude.

East coast thing?

don't give us a bad name with that- last time I check TN and KY are not on the East Coast anyway if your going to spin it that way.

And the west coast ppl were more then happy to adapt plans and come out to help us when we traveled out to Cali last month.

As I mentioned earlier, I will post up a different thread for the tour portion. A correction is that it will likely not be today. I need to get my ducks in a row first so I'm not talking out of my ass.

No need to fret or concern thought to it yet...
