Pinch seam trim

Yup, don't be a hater. I am a member of the JMCOSC society and and soon to be made a senior member. (Jeep Mall Crawlers of So Cali). Do you know how many times I've had to go shopping a s wash my Jeep to be made a senior member? 

Pretty sure senior is a reference to age in that case.

SeamTrim

Don't know what your tool situation is but if you can get access to the 3" electric cutoff tool from Harbor freight it makes things REAL easy like 30 seconds or so per side.:clap2:

I recently after running a minor trim for a few years went in there and cut more to accommodate my new tires
The last pics are the jeep at full bumpstop compression

Swaybar still connected at front but not rear

Looks good snopro, but using that hi lift like that makes me pucker right up. I have tiny peanuts when it comes to that stuff.

After trimming for 37" tires, I was hoping to use spray bedliner. Anyone done that, or is JB Weld the better route?

Dave

I use a rattle can of 3m texture paint for all my touch ups and under spraying
Yeah I'm not to scared when the hilift is on a firm level concrete ground

Pinch seam trimming for 40" tires

Does anyone have any pictures of how they've trimmed and cleaned up their pinch seams with 40"s? I would assume a big hack job needs to be done. Would love to see some final pics of what y'all have done.

If your axle is centered in the opening..it helps if you have adjustable arms .

measure, Cut -fill and tig as needed.
