PIGINJK8 build

Nothing pisses me off more than when someone doesn't than a shop not installing bump stops properly. It really shows they don't know what the hell they are doing.

I don't know who installed this kit, but I'm glad it's just a basic kit if they can't even get this right.

Anyways, installing bump stops

Checking at full bump, plenty of shock left, hell to much. I'll be changing lifts soon so this will work for now

I really hate the self taping bolts, I never have any luck so I just tapped it. If I had bolts here, I would just bolt and nut the damn thing

I hear ya'

The local dealership that threatened to flag the warranty on my Jeep for the transmission (that had the issue documented before I lifted it) wanted to blame it on the newly installed lift. When I asked if they warranty the lifted Jeeps that they were selling they said "Well that's different. They have been installed by cirtified technicians." That's when I pointed out the brake lines were too short, the bumpstops were insufficient (none), and they had done nothing to correct the caster. This of course made me feel better, but didn't help my situation any.

Looks good Chris. You decided on front bumper yet?
Trying to decide which winch to run. I love the power plant but I'm leaning towards the EVO pro series without the hoop.

If I run the PP, the pro series is out. I don't want to block that much of the radiator. So I really don't know yet.

LOL!! I thought you were stuck in the mud. Glad to see you made it home and found some time to work on your Jeep :thumb:

I got caught in that mud. Not a good time.

At 6:00 am this morning I did. Everyone had to abandon their vehicles. Getting out of Tehachapi was a challenge also. Luckily my brother-in-law knew what to say to get by the road blocks.

Damn! I live in bear valley. I had to show my ID with my address to get past. I should have stayed home. It was 2 1/2hrs to get from Bakersfield to tehachapi after work today. Lots of people stranded and no real communication from officials on what to do. Crazy

Absolutely right, just a great big cluster. I think my truck is toast. CHP said it was going to take a week to dig all the cars out.
