Panda's birthday trip

So went up to High Lakes today, or tried lol. We ran into a bunch of rain and snow and people that should not have been up there. Here are a couple of photos of the road.

Let's take our stock Dodge Dakota up for a Sunday drive :yup:

This is the trail right before entering the High Lakes area. We turned around because of the rain and prior commitments we had. We helped 3 people out and waited over an hour for the "yahoos" up there to figure out how to turn around.

It was just wet. I'm going to run up later this week and see what it's like. Too many people were up there just spinning and sliding all over instead of staying on top of it.
 
I wish we had soneone close to the rubicon so we can no what that looks like

We are OK with the cold :yup: nothing like chilling at camp with a fire and something to drink. Plus it will give us a chance to try out our custom "pea pod" systems I made for our hammocks.

Panda's up for going to Rubicon he doesn't have his phone with him today. I'm sorry guys about having to come back out can't chance sleeping in the cold with my Asthma
