OVERTIME : MOAB Deja Vu

Still bubbling power steering fluid? :thinking:

I've been working 70-80 hours a week lately. Unfortunately I do not get paid "overtime." I'd happily trade some of that time for some seat time in Moby. :yup:
 
Fortunately we had a little bit of cell service and was able to get some tech help from Robbie at Motech. While that got us a little closer to pavement, we were still having issues.

It took a while to find but I think we found the problem. Can you see it?

It took a lot of work but Eddie was able to jerry rig a temporary fix that got us all the way to the nearest town.

Still had a lot of problems and limped along about 20 miles at a time and almost made it home on our own power but ultimately we had to call our son to help bring out reinforcements. After a very long day, we finally made it home.

Glad you guys were able to band aid it to get home and thankfully Andrew was home to help out! I know you wanted to get moby out and stretch his legs a little bit. Drive safe in rubicat
 
Wow crazy day! Most important is you guys are ok. Maybe Rubicat was just jealous you didn't pick her. [emoji6]
 
I'm glad to see you were able to get home. I hope that round 2 of the Moab trip goes smoothly!
 
What a bummer about moby, glad you guys made it back ok though and could get back out of town by just switching gear over. Glad you have the know how to get you guys back rolling and home
