Thanks!Nice upgrade!
For sure, especially with the family in there with you too! Thanks!
a little extra space makes all the difference, in both tent and storage.
My rack sits at 72" & there is still plenty of room in the ladders with a CVT brand tent, I picked that height to match the annex room.Great job on your trailer! I picked up a homemade trailer this weekend and I want to modify the tent rack. Do you know the measurement from the ground to the top of the rack (or base of the tent)? Is it around 70” or so? Mine is currently 58” but I want to raise it some. I don’t want to make it too high to where the tent will be unstable but I would love to be able to use the annex like your build.

Awesome idea…I wish I had one when I was a kid, I’d never sleep insideOrdered a new RTT for the trailer, so the old one for now is the tiny humans new fort.

We are very thankful it didn’t happen on the freeway!! It should all work out. That thing took a hell of a lick. I’m glad it didn’t come apart on the highway. Good luck getting her all buttoned up!
Adding in 3/8 plate gussets in all the corners.Ouch, on the upside your weld looks like it held damn well, just cracked below it. I would think a few triangle gussets would solve the issue?
