If it makes you feel better I rebuilt the top end on my LS and had a rear main leak from day one. Pretty sure I even got a new one and just forgot to install it.

So weird. I wonder if it’s just for certain codes. When I swapped the motor and had the whole list of codes they cleared themselves when I did the ground correctly. This one had to be cleared. Thanks for the tip.
