New Rig - Silver Bullet - DTD, 60/80, 40’s....

It was the only code I had. I’m okay with that. Lol debating just replacing the whole oil filter housing or just the sensors.

If it isn’t broke don’t fix it. You might swap one in that’s a piece of shit. We’ve replaced leaking housings and had the new one start leaking again 3 months later. Such a joke. I’m working on a better mousetrap.

That’s my other thought. It’s just a pain in the dickhole pulling all the shit out to get to it.

Lol, I know man. That whole design is fucking stupid and I’ve had to do it more times than I can remember. I still don’t get the logic of using that as a “cooler” when it’s hidden below all that shit and in between the heads. The only place hotter than that out side of the engine is the exhaust pipe.

:cheesy: Well, at least it was something relatively easy. :thumb:

Lol you say that now. With my luck I will plug it in get it all reassembled and it will still be there and I’ll have to pull it apart and replace the sensor.

LOL - oh, that would really suck.

Yep, that’ll do it.

If that’s the only thing you forgot to do with a whole motor swap I’d say you did pretty good.

Well I didn’t really forget it. It should be attached to the harness. Not sure why it was unplugged when I got the motor. Here is my old one as it sits right now after being removed. You don’t need to unplug it.

That’s why it was not plugged in. Someone cut the fucking plug off. Not sure if it was motech or the previous owner but this should be fun to fix.

Well that sucks. At least you can use the plug off of your old motor so it doesn’t turn into a fiasco like your turn signal plug did.

Easier said than done. Probably going to have to pull the oil filter housing and replace the whole harness. No way to splice in there.

Like you don't have enough room or not enough wire? I would think you should be able to cut that sheath open and get enough exposed wire to make a joint. You may have to get a roll of heat resistant tape but that sounds a whole lot better than swapping a harness. Maybe you can see something I can't.
