Napalm's NEW 2014 Jeep JKU Sport Picture diary/Build thread!

So I've noticed some minor pulling in Onyx to the left when I remove my hand from the steering wheel after the spacer install.

What could cause this? I did accidentally jack up Onyx on the right side lower control arm in the front. I immediately removed the jack where I figured out where it was.

Any idea what could be causing this?

I don't think jacking on the control arm would be any worse than this. ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1430855907.329265.jpg
I thought for sure something was messed up the whole way home. (Other than destroyed steering stabilizer) but everything was ok.

What are you talking about there ? I don't see anything wrong with in that picture. :)

In all seriousness though, I'm just worrying. I'll drive it for a few days and see if things change and if not I might have a friend look at the alignment.

Could be just heightened sense of awareness about the new parts.
I ordered spacers after seeing your rig.

You won't regret it

And you may be right, after having SO many problems with my 2010 I am definitely weary when installing new parts.

Napalm, You have a lift on your rig right? I found when I added my spacers, I had to adjust my steering link downward (to adjust right on steering wheel). This corrected my left pull/steering wheel being misaligned. I think the spacers exaggerated the steering wheel issue and I had already adjusted it right side after my lift. I know this doesn't fix a left pull, but did get my steering wheel straight...which for me was making me feel like it had a left pull as I like to have my steering wheel centered when driving and in doing so was actually steering left--You follow what I'm saying in my mumbling. LOL

I love the looks on their faces like "What did you do!?" and the other guy's face is saying "Where did this rock come from..it moved!" Their facial expressions are priceless!

I do have a small level. It's been aligned, so this could be an issue. How does one go about adjusting the steering link?

This morning Onyx had a low tire. So our first stop after leaving the fire station was an Airpump.

After about 80 test drives and tugs on the drag link, it was time to pull the wheels off and check the spacers
