My JKU Build

I thought I noticed that your coilover springs were blue in an earlier post? If so how did you change the color? Awesome build. Wish I had the skills and patience to do the install myself. The install quote is why I'm still on the fence with this system. HaHa that and axles. Nice work man.

I ordered the coilovers in black/red. The problem is King still sends the springs blue. I had to get them powder coated black on my own.

It has been a lot of work to install. I am curious to hear what the install quote was.

DTD $18,245.96 That's front and rear $2250 labor, Draglink flip $187 labor, Extreme high clearance long arm $1500 labor, Rock stops w/ king bumps rear $500 labor and front rear JE Reel 1350's installed $125 labor. So basically $4562 and that's in factory blue. How much are you charging ?LOL

Holy shit! That's more than I paid for my whole Jeep. 🤪

Unless they have jacked the price up due to tariffs, you are $1,525 off. 36 hours worth of labor to install all the parts mentioned above.

This quote was on 1/5/18 so it would actually be more now. Numbers I gave were spot on. You probably didn't add the drive shafts. I would only need the rear. But yea 35.5 hours.

Out of curiosity, how much would you be handicapping a Jeep if you put bolt on coilovers on the front and the DTD on the rear vs DTD on front and back?

Got a bunch done this weekend. No pictures yet but starting to look like a vehicle again!

Got everything in the rear of the jeep torqued down and set. Brake lines installed. ABS sensors installed and wired in.

Reinstalled the fuel tank.

Waiting on drive lines to set the rear pinion angle and then I can weld in the limiting straps.

Ordered drive lines from Adams. 1350 front and 1410 rear. Hopefully they are here Wednesday so I can get them installed during the long weekend.

Only difference would be removing the bypass shocks and adding hydraulic bump stops. I think you would end up with the same amount of travel.

Wow! I have a feeling I could never make money doing it as a business. But for myself it isn't so bad.

I have no idea how many hours I have into the project at this point. Well over book I would guess.

The Dynatrac Elite XD60 and XD80 come with:

Dynatrac high capacity 13.25-inch brake upgrade with new dual-piston front calipers and vented rotors in the front.

Dynatrac 13.88-inch brake upgrade with single-piston calipers in the rear.

I have been looking to upgrade my brakes and have looked at Dynatrac Progrip with its larger rotors. But I decided on the Mopar Big Brake Kit as it has dual calipers and larger rotors. I just now went to order them and found they are discontinued. Any advice would be appreciated.
