I've had it on various vehicles.
Take out cabin air filter, buy some AC condenser cleaner and spray it down in the filter hole.
They make stuff specifically for automotive, it foams up.
My little beater commuter gets this.
Change the cabin air filter. Also open up the vehicle on a sunny day and let it air out.
In addition to what’s been said, I’ve run the AC with high heat to dry things up as well.
Thanks everyone!Another thing that helps on some vehicles, switch from recirc to vent before you shut it off. It opens things up while the vehicle sits. Especially if there's evap condensation sitting in the box under the dash.
I just ordered one, I put 40K on it this year hadn’t changed it since I bought it.Start with the cabin filter. I always tell people they should change it every 2 years or 20k, whatever comes first. Helps keep things fresh, especially for how cheap they are aftermarket.
Awesome!Thank you all for the tips! The filter change, running the heat and leaving the recirc off for a couple days fixed the issue!
