Miller jeep trail 5/11/13

Did you get it with the stinger? I want them to weld the sting on instead of bolt on for strength.

man that looks bad ass!! i just think not only for strength but it would look cleaner not having the bolts on top of the bumper. looks sweet though i cant wait to get mine:thumb:

you are gonna be at the miller run right?

Yes ill be there with my buddy he will be driving his jeep it wrapped with the transmission man logo it's his shop

oh ok i was hoping to see the bumper then but i guess more people have it anyways... cant wait for this run, i've been so busy with upgrades and fine tuning everything i haven't been out as much as i usually am

Me too and I've been working like crazy in the last 2 weeks I need to level my jeep the front is too low with all the weight now plus the winch I was going to go to 4 wheel parts and see if they have in stock a level kit that goes above the springs

Those bolts are what bring the stinger tight to the bumper. Not really a strength thing. The stinger is strong enough with those from bolts and the steel itself.

i have a 3 inch Pro Comp lift, not a high end one by any means but it has springs for the front and spacer for the rear with 4 Pro Comp shocks and track bar relocation bracket for the rear, all you need is a front bracket or adj. track bar like i did but you can have the lift for free.

oh i'm not doubting its strength in any way, i just like the look of clean welds over bolts, thats it, no other reason. i would have them bolt it in place, then weld it, then remove the bolts and fill in the holes so it would be a flush plate, but who knows i might just bolt it on.... depends on money ya know.:dont_know:

If that's the case you could just have the stinger welded to the bumper and not need the plate. Same as EVO1 basically.

ok sounds good i will be waiting for your call. its no problem at all, i pulled it off my jeep when i upgraded to the AEV lift so its just been sitting in my storage unit waiting for a good home, it is not a high dollar lift but it will give you the clearance for miller and larger tires until you can save for that high dollar lift...:thumb:
