Nice I'll put you on the going. Took a trip up one of the passes today. Drifts are still deep and water crossing are fun.It looks like I will be in Colorado by Thursday night and may either do Blanco pass or head up north. Either way, I am down for Saturday and Sunday.
I definitely have no idea where I'm going. Where and when would the meet up in Denver be?Just updated the first post. If people want to convoy from Denver let me know.

I have my truck and trailer. Should I unload there at Walmart, or wait until we get to the trailhead?

Where is your hotel going to be for Friday night?I have my truck and trailer. Should I unload there at Walmart, or wait until we get to the trailhead?
The wal-mart i was talking about is in Denver. You will be close to the trail where your staying. Maybe WJCO knows of a place up that way to park it. Maybe meet up with him and head to the trail head. Where you staying for Saturday night.Estes Mountain Lodge

Local Forest Service confirmed that the trails are open. They said they are very muddy, over 30 trees were cleared and that the main water crossing was 'high.' They didn't elaborate further on that.
