Ha yea actually i did know that but forgot lol. So thanks to gr8white mike as well. Not sure itll change anything but its in... anybody know torque spec off hand?

I believe its 125ftlbs. I usually just use a impact even though i probably shouldn't.

For my 2000th post, id like to take a min to say thank you to Eddie and Cindy for providing such a kickass forum. Id also like to thank everyone for the contributions, good or bad. Ive met alot of new people and made some great friends. My rig has come a long way from the stock jeep i bought a year ago, with a long way to go still. Glad i found this place along the way.

Get back to wrenching. Wish I was, everything is on hold for us right now. It's for good reasons though so it's not all bad.

Since i only have one factory tie rod, and its on my jeep, can someone verify for me if its supposed to be perfectly straight? Im thinkin it is, and mine is not. Has a visible sad face look to it. I cant check it for sure because im stuck at work.

It looks like it to me. However, it doesn't look that bad and you can adjust it to keep your toe set.

The picture doesnt really do it justice. The middle looks about an inch or so higher. Not sure at what point you go from adjusting it to getting a new one...

I'm guessing it's when you run out of adjustment threads. Did you notice it starting to handle differently?

Yea after RC, you can tell the front tires want to follow every little rut or imperfection in the road.
