Wow, I guess I never really realized that some of you would be disappointed by this. I think I always felt like my little Jeep wasn't really much of a big deal considering how many really bad ass Jeep are on this site. Especially when you consider so many really get out and use theirs way more than I did. I am humbled by the responses and realize they probably reflect an even larger number who viewed but didn't post. Being a little bit older guy, I didn't give the internet the understanding of how many people a site like this actually touches and how many people enjoyed viewing my build. I never said I was thinking of selling because I didn't want to come off as if I was using the site to profit. I can see now where that might have blindsided a few folks. Looking back, there was probably a way to have that discussion without looking like I was out to make a sale. All I can say is, I really didn't think it would bother anyone and hindsight is 20/20.

When We bought the Wrangler, it was never my intention to keep it forever. I liked it a lot but I wasn't attached to it the same way many are to theirs. After 3 years, I felt I got all I wanted out of it and thoroughly enjoyed the building of it. In my heart, I really wanted to get another CJ. So that is the plan now. The Ram is a good go to work and traveling vehicle and I wanted to have something to tow the CJ with when I get it. That was at least a factor in my decision. I feel I have made some friends here and will still be around enjoying time with all of you. As I said before, I will contribute where I can, this is a good place to be. :)
 
Personally speaking, for me although I only have met 2 people on Wayalife so far, I feel like I'm friends with a lot of the regulars just from people posting daily and watching each other's builds. Then when someone sells it seems like they most of the time disappear. Hopefully you will find your CJ and stick around

Thank you for this awesome Jeep you built! We love it. It is my husbands dream. The moment we turned the corner to check it out I knew we weren't leaving the lot without her. I'm sorry you had to give her up but she is well loved!

We have been thinking of renaming but haven't a good name 'pop'. We purchased it the day before the solar eclipse and took her home the day of the eclipse. Tried ideas with that but I saw the thread for the reason of the name Maggie. So it may stay or change. idk.
 
As things go, I don't think it could have been better!

Welcome to the forum Lbacskay! It's great to see a Jeep stay on the forum even after changing owners! To make it better you have the original build thread to know what has been done in the past and why.
