Hey Conman. I was thinking of getting my fenders cut next weekend. Hopefully my new tires are going to be on the Jeep and see what they fully look like. Did you want to help me out if you don't have anything special going on?

My goal is to make them look like this.

That's to expensive for me. If I was to spend the 1500 you spent on those I'd buy new shocks and springs. Cutting the fenders are cheap and easy since I've heard about those metal ones bolting to the side like that. If they take a impact it can bend the body. I'd rather them rip off then do that. But that's my personal preference but they do look awesome don't get me wrong.

Its true, they were pricey, but you know me, just had to have them. Dont really plan to wrap mine around a tree ( who does ?) But it's a personal comfort/preference is all.

Well I decided to move my date up a week and just cut the fenders myself. The fenders are coming out really good and bought some trimming at O'reillys for $13. I've got one more front fender to complete and work some more on the passenger. I'm going to spry paint the rear inter well with flat black or bed liner. Not sure which one I'm going to go with yet.

Looking good. Home Depot or OSH has the spray on bed liner by rustolium that works really well. Just make sure you clean the rear wheel well good. I used simple green then some paint thiner.

I got the other side done. I ended up using a big piece of paper and used a crayon to get the outline. Then I cut out the outline to get the other side the exact same shape as the other side. I made sure I was good and used some measurements with a tape measure. I'm not done yet, still need to put the molding on and get some spray paint (bed liner). I also installed the front running light, provided by Conman (thank you again). I was quite nervous drilling into the body of the jeep. I also removed the rear bumper.

I haven't decided what I'm going to do. I cant buy the front bumper before the rear tire carrier. So I might end up cutting the front bumper to make it a stubby. Haven't reached that point just yet. But this week will be for sure a decision.
