Pullers

Got my pullers that I ordered off of Amazon. :thumb: I have to start to build up tools for the trail. :yup:

How much was the tools?

T handle=$35 from King( part number25308-100), spanner was like $7 from off road warehouse (part number LAS 07-098, not in picture) and another from ORW for $30 (part number SYN 4015, in picture). Can't remember if you have EVO long arms or not. Let me know if you want part numbers for those spanners.

Got word from JKPE (Brandon) that he's going to take the time on Saturday to help me install the CO's. I'm excited :rock::rock:

Looks like I'll be needing to buy brake fluid tool, brake fluid and CO wrench. Wonder what else

Damn your full of information. :thumb: Going to need those part numbers as well. I'm not there yet but those arms are still tight until I get them on.

Now don't wear him out, I'll need him to help with mine when I get home.

That's the one for the long arm adjustments. As I read in a bunch of threads, and I'm sure you have too, there isn't much that needs dialed in. Once you take the weight off, loosen the lock nut/bolt and use the spanner to adjust... Wasn't that hard on mine.

To be honest I haven't done much research into the dynamic of adjusting the CO's. I know there is a really long running thread and I do need to sit down and read all about it. This weekend installing the CO's will be focused on installation and then narrow down how to adjust. I've got a bunch willing to help me out on that.:rock:

Yes they do, check out the video

I haven't yet to be honest.

Congrats on the coil overs! your rig is turning into a beast Id like some feed back on how the coil overs work with your current lift been thinking of going that way with my r.e. lift

Rears will go smooth for you. There were a few other tricks I thought about though. When you raise the body from the frame, and then insert the brackets above where you bolt the top of the coilovers, go ahead and start the bolts through the regular holes and up into those strength plates. Otherwise you will tighten things back down and the holes won't be aligned and you will have to lift the body back off and realign again. PITA!
Like I said before, sawsall with short blades ( buy extras and have extra battery's if it's battery powered like mine) makes the cutting for the rock stars simple. I went ahead and bolted, then welded mine on. Sawsall will help on cutting the other bracket too!

Go take the U bolt out of the package right now out to your axle. There are two of them. Make sure they are the right size. Mine were too big ( too much of a radius). I had to stop and go buy smaller ones.

That's going to be interesting :grayno: Having to lift the body off the Jeep...........What did you do to do that (Keep in mind I havent read the instructions)? U-bolts....Ok, I'll take the time tomorrow and check that out. :thumb: I personally dont have a sawsall but I'll use my angle grinder. I have to invest in more tools :icon_crazy:

Don't laugh... I took off my spare, stacked my spare plus one of the other back tires, took 2x8's across the tires( full width across) and then started jacking! Once it was up high enough, I stacked everything under the back frame cross member ( not running a bumper just EVO D rings) and sat everything back down on those wheels/ tires and 2x8's. Also had jack stands on the frame adjusted to that height. It worked! I actually felt pretty safe under there. I also slid the other wheel and tire under the frame in front of the jack stands just in case.

Well...All I read is, I have to get creative. Lee where is your huge jack stands?

I was on a roll yesterday miss reading all these posts. I guess my day at work finally got to me

Thank you for the congrats on the CO's. I had to work a bunch of over time until the wifey said Ok. The part I miss read was you already had the RE lift already. Not sure what type you have but the RE long arm I have is the radius arm. The radius arm I have actually performed better than I thought the other week wheeling it for the first time. Handled every obstacle I put in it's path. However the CO's have to much flex for the type of lift I have. I have bought the EVO long arm and I know for sure that it will handle the flexing. I plan on posting up a bunch of pictures and maybe even a video.

What RE lift you have?
