It's time to get started!

So I got bored this evening and wanted to make sure all the parts I have ordered would fit together when I ran into this:

I don't know what this should look like inside but this is what I have with the knuckles, unit bearings and axle shafts installed. Could anyone tell me if this is right or what the shaft lengths should be?

Definitely looks like the wrong length shafts. Tell us what you got so we can help out.

Did you get the conventional housing or the rubicon housing? The shaft lengths will be different between the two. I believe the electric locker shaft is longer. If you got these from TJ call up Wes and tell him what you got.

I got the replacement rubicon housing, and the shafts were supposed to be for rubicon housing, I ordered replacement shafts last year from Northridge because they had a special on them, just never got around to installing them, I will have to compare the stock to the ten factory to see if they are the same

Looking good, I'm sure your excited. My PR44 will be here next week, looking fwd to hearing how it all comes together!

Finally taking some time to install my PSC steering kit with a cooler!! I have all the new stuff mounted and am now working on the plumbing not bad seeing as I started today!

Some pictures!

One of the reasons it has taken so long is because I had to come up with a axle side mount solution for the ram. My PR44 came from dynatrac with a raised tracbar bracket that had very little surface area on the front. It would have been fine if I would have kept my stock knuckles. Since the Reid knuckle raise the tracbar, the real estate on the front of the tracbar bracket was no longer usable. I got a quarter inch plate and had it welded to the front of the tracbar bracket to extend it to the drivers side then had the tabs welded to it

The only issue I may have is that I think the PSC system is running pretty hot, even with the cooler. Is that normal for these kits? Today the ambient temperature while driving was 75, however the temp display in the jeep was showing 95. I am assuming that the sensor is the little thing located in the front behind the grill towards the drivers side right next to where I installed the cooler. The sensor isn't making any contact but it is picking up the radiated heat from the cooler, and even after driving about 10min the cooler feels pretty hot. You can probably only touch it for about 4seconds before it feels like it's burning you
