Inflation? What Inflation - LOL

Not sure about the rest of the US, but eateries seem to be falling like flies out here in Cali. Rubio's is closing more than half its stores due to "rising cost of business." Makes sense really, nobody wants to pay $30 to feed two people and they can't pay all their employees more if shit ain't selling. Wild.
In my area of Dallas, the parking lots are close to 100% full wherever the trendy restaurants are.

$30 for two people almost sounds like a deal these days.
 
That's too bad. I was really optimistic that that kind of business model would work. Especially states that raised minimum wage so high.

If the minimum wage can be artificially determined why not make it $1,000 and hour? (Sarcasm)

The basic economic concept of an organic wage determined by supply and demand has become a foreign concept in many places. As the kids say today: “Economics is hard, Yo!”
