Inflation? What Inflation - LOL

LOL - not sure what that's supposed to mean or what exactly you're looking for but there's nothing "normal" to me about a pair of shoes costing $160. Now, a good set work boots, that's a different story and if anything, I'd say that's on the low end but then, work boots are not "normal" to me.

To me, these are "normal" shoes.

i was at Dicks sporting, there wasn’t no Nikes for under $100 that I saw, exactly why I was shocked, I usually wear Columbia hiking shoes, or asics, even asics were at $100 plus.

Give DSW a look. They have all kinds of shoes and boots of all types and while some are over $100 a pair, there are tons that are not.

When the fuck did a normal pair of shoes go to $160? Holy shit they are expensive. I’m glad I don’t have kids.
Holy shit. I just went to my go to for running shoes a place in Fla called fit2run I’ve bought my running shoes there for years. You’re right the prices have skyrocketed. I’ve been using the Brooks Cascadia and luckily bought three pairs for 50 or sixty bucks last year on clearance cause now they are 169 regular price. Plus I see a lot of shoes around 200. WTF?

I’ve switched away from the common brands and went with Goruck shoes for everything the last 3-4 years. Exercise shoes. Hiking, work. Etc.

They always have good sales and I wear the same pair for around 2 years straight before needing to replace them. At least as a work shoe, granted its office work… but they hold up well for everyday stuff.

I’ve bought my Harley boots from them. I didn’t buy anything. But I was in shock at the store cost.
Main store prices are insane. If you know what you want and size, check out Amazon. Often have better prices, free shipping and free returns with prime.
