HOOP's Build Thread

awesome build! gah all you 37 guys are making me wanna go straight to 37s and not 35s lol hows the gas before and after the tuner?:brows:

Thanks! I appreciate that....I love 37s and don't think I'll ever go down in tire size. That being said, I haven't been able to take full advantage of the 37s yet. Not until I get some more mods this month. I'm averaging about 11.8 miles per gallon around town. The tuner helped slightly.

Thanks again!

Gotta eat my words from my last post in January! Sold the 37s and bought some Mickey Thompson Baja Claws, 314/75R16. Kept the Pro Comp wheels.

Added the ORE hood decals and the Wayalife side decals.

Also replaced my stock spare tire carrier with an inexpensive Smittybilt tire carrier. Added support brackets inside the tailgate to help distribute the weight of the tire. This should do okay until I upgrade to the Evo carrier.

Gotta eat my words from my last post in January. I didn't plan on getting rid of the 37s, but did. Loved em, but overall, with consideration on where I plan to go with my build, it was the right thing to do for now.

Still a bad ass rig! Due to my commute I think I have decided on 285/75/17's. I hope I don't regret.

Thanks! I get it. I'm learning there are many factors to consider when you start making mods and upgrading stuff! What brand are you gonna get, or do you already have them?

Good looking rig,, love the color.:thumb: Early on I think you said you would powder coat the grill. I think it might melt, or at least warp, if you try. 400* is hot!!

I was thinking, if you go 315s for your tire your only looking at about an inch bigger overall. Not sure how much those tires you mentioned weigh, but I think I'm about 67 pounds each.

They are about close to that. Heck a few even more.

You are kinda cruel suggesting that BTW. You are really tempting me.

Nice work so far!
