Hinrichs build

It's a Rockhard cage, it's going to look like a blind, armless, 3 y/o welded it. You may need to de-burr it in a few spots. Although the welds are notoriously unclean and ugly, they seem to do the job :idontknow:

Hahahahahaha!!!!!

And we all know how OCD you are about things being clean ;)

Sent from my phone?

I think today's project will be finally opening the box and cleaning up all the welds, can always touch them up if I need to

Very nice 2dr sir! So I'm curious are you having to go to a longer shock because of the 3in coils? Do the coils not work with the 2.5 shock? Wondering what else I would have to buy to get the 3in evo's under panda?

They didn't have much droop only around 3" after the coils were swapped so that's why I went with longer up front to start. I got around 3.75 with these coils.

Crown extended brake lines ordered, shouldnt have waited so long but oh well. Hope to start painting the cage soon so I can install that as well, unless I can get a good deal on powder coating it.

Sir you have inspired me to buy a two door! I have a four door that's a few dollars away from being paid off.

So brake lines show up tomorrow, if my friend comes home in time Ill throw them on quick. Also prolly going to be ordering a new rear shaft today or tomorrow so I can get the rear uppers set up properly which are sitting as well.

Got quoted 150-175 to get the cage quoted, which is more than I want to spend but I know the guy does very nice work. I think ill prolly just end up painting it myself tho to save money. With getting it coated I cant decide to color match or just do it black.

i say black because it will blend in with the interior. you wouldnt even no its there since i know you like a clean look.

I think thats what Ill end up doing, but dont want to copy you.

LOL! Shhhh! Nobody will know. ;)

Doesn't bother me any, I just think it looks the best.

In fact, I like the white so much that I am going to re-paint the rear c-pillar reiforcement white when it gets warmer here.

I wonder how bad it would be if I just did the whole thing white, mainly trying to make it look as oem as possible.

Just ordered the JE-Reel 1310 heavy duty rear drive shaft, wish my front wasnt a coast now so they matched, but dont think itll be an issue at all.

Are you OCD about things matching? Put it on and drive down the road, I'll bet you forget all about it :yup:
However if it is something that bothers you I'm sure someone here would buy it off you.

I would sell it, but dont want to loose any money on it since its only been out of the box sitting on carpet.

All white looks good. One of the guys on JKX has his all white. He said he wish he had done black because of the glare coming in the windshield. I went with flat black because my eyes are really sensitive to light and I knew it would bother me. I think if you went with a flat white it would be better than a gloss.

Edit: If you want it to look factory go with black and put the padding all over it.
