Hinrichs build

This idea sounds like the cheaper option if you're not wanting to spend the money on new upper and lower control arms. it's what I'd do if I wanted to recenter my rear axle.

You still need the control arms. Moving the brackets won't do anything for the short length of the stock arms.

That is somethig that bugs me. Theres a jeep down the street with flat fenders about 4 inches of lift and 35's and his resr axle looks like it sits so far forward

that is where the adjustable control arms come in handy like overlander was saying. they will help with the proper pinion angle and will help push the axle back a bit. but like Ed was saying it will make your coils bowed and look funny so you would need to relocate the spring perch.

Looks great, I can see why you want to move the rewr back though, especially with having no rear bumper.

Btw, you were talking about doing a stretch eventually. Were you thinking of going evo double throw down or bolt ons?

Can't do the lever with a stretch.

That is out of the box. I'm sure Mel could figure something out but it would be custom.

I may be wrong but have their been rigs out there running double throw down up front and then bolt ln jn the rear?

basically id want to do what rt1guy had done, but I would need rear fenders due to pa laws which makes it a little harder i think.

To sure. Maybe the weld in in the rears. I can't remember what the AdArt rig has in the rear but he has DTD up front.

only getting about 3" or less droop front and rear now after swapping in the evo coils, guess I really need to start saving for the kings.

I was following your build and ran into similar problems. The 35s looked good with uncut fenders. Now I want to get 37s and a 3.5" Rk coilovers. How did the 37s fit on your 2.5 inch lift?

They fit perfectly I thought, If you look through the tread there should be a few pics running that. Only reason I swapped to the evo coils was for a better ride.

Skins will be here tomorrow, and sliders will be here wednesday. Sadly neither will get installed this weekend since I am leaving to visit some friends in AZ for few days. Hopefully when I get home I will find some time for the skins which have me nervous drilling holes and the nutcerts. Usually anytime holes are involved nothing lines up for me after drilling.
