Did you ever look at the rugged ridge hood latches? They ark less expensive and very nice design. No cable to flop around on the hood.

Who did that write up on installing the hood latches a few months back . I'll try to find it ,they were pretty sweet looking.

It was I remember. I think I might go that way too. I'm tired of looking at the hood flutter up and down on the highway

Oh and still no spare tire which im not happy about, if I would have known it was to save on freight sooner I would have paid the freight charge for sure. Looks weird to see the carrier empty.

I think next winter I'm going to pull my carrier and spare off my skins (simple to remove, just two bolts and two pins) to keep the Johnny joints from rusting to oblivion again.

luckily with the genright I dont have to worry about that, would like to have some stainless sleves made for the bushings however and maybe some better pins
 
lower arms showed up today, hopefully I can get them installed after work. So i looked out to see while driving and my you can see my tires wobble. Going to get an alignment asap but wondering if maybe my ball joints are starting to fail. the other day we were checking them and they seemed fine but i dont know anymore. Wobble still goes away while going faster tho. also the arms have holes for zerks...but currently are plugged....is that normal?

should I start with 23-1/8 for the lower arms? I think jkmadness said something like 23-1/4 was perfect
