Lower control arms ordered finally, tried the at home toe alignment but either made it worse or didnt change a thing, had a very hard time measuring and getting anything correct so I'll be calling around tomorrow to see who can do it locally

I was going to read that article and attempt a "home" alignment Sunday but didn't get a chance. I'm scheduled for an alignment at the local tire dealer tomorrow anyway.

Your rig is looking sweet! I really like the pic of you on the ramp! Very nice!:yup:

I'm not sure if I am just not measuring consistently or what, but I think I'll let the pros do it so its right, prolly wait till I get my arms installed tho

Yeah, I was able to straighten the steering wheel up but figured I'd just let the pros do the alignment since it wasn't driving that bad and I didn't want to screw it up.:D

Other than my shimmy thing it does currently it was driving fine, I know the arms will really help out a lot tho

With the extra weight maybe you'll need to go up to a dual stabilizer.. I know you were thinking about the hydro assist..

I really don't think it is all that different to steer with 37s vs the 32s I had. I was honestly surprised with the ride quality and stability.

The psc was more for offroad than anything, just still don't understand how it'll shimmy at one speed and stop slightly slower and slightly faster

Probably has something to do with harmonics that I don't understand! :cheesy:

My wife's Mazda has a strange issue like that but it's not bad. Most likely something slightly out of balance on a rotating part. It is kind of weird. I guess as long as it isn't the Death Wobble your ok. ;)

I had my normal guy do a static balance since he said it would prolly take too much weight to get the normal way done, but it really didnt change much at all. Eddie said have them road force balance so I will have to try and find a shop to do it.

Still no spare tire, or control arms...really hope they show up soon so I can get an alignment done....but thought is give the drake hold downs a try

And also found a CJ7 that's tempting to get for a side project
