I really like the "idea" of the soft top on the Gladiator but yeah, it looks super goofy folded back. I think the only way I would run it is ON, with the windows out or completely OFF.

That's the only reason why we didn't bother getting the dual top. Looking at pics of the soft top in these goofy configurations, I just couldn't get myself to like it.

I think they look horrible with the soft top. And not a huge fan of no top either. I mean if you live in China town you would fit right in with the soft top folded back.

Looks like Joe dirt. We love the soft top but we fully remove it and never fold it back. I think piginajeep wants one though.

I took the soft top off and put the hard top back on. I doubt I’ll ever put the soft top back on. lol
Maybe with half doors it would look better. Wasn’t a fan of how it folds back but stays up on top.

Pretty sure you can't even run like this on the highway. If it's anything like the Bestop glide it's just a parachute.

I agree... only reason why I like the soft top over hard top is when traveling. Its easier to fold up the soft top and store it in the hotel or tent then the hard top.

BTW. Who the hell thought it would be smart to put a 27mm “nut” on the oil filter that only requires ~19 ft lbs of torque? I see a lot of broken filter housing to come.

I’ve always been worried about that even on the JKs. It’s so easy to crank down on that snd cause your self a ton of headaches

I’m always super paranoid that I’ve over-tightened the cap. Usually I crank everything down to the point of no return and don’t even mean to.

Forgot to mention and also just to add for my memory as well.

Currently at 5,800 miles and have used 5 gallons of DEF averaging 21 mpg while not being conservative with the skinny pedal.
