Our Ocala HardRock Father's Day disaster.
Drove 1.5 hours to get there. Disconnected, met Bonedaddy and his family (awesome people by the way). Drove into the park. Did this....

Then drove 30 feet around the corner and decided to put my passenger side in this.

Got stuck, heard a loud pop from the passenger side front and found out I snapped the u-joint. Found a place in the shade and worked on the jeep for the next 3 hours in 100 degree weather.

All of our kids are off making lives for themselves, so other than a phone call, it was shaping up to be a quiet day. That is until our niece needed a sitter on short notice. Since she calls us "My fun aunt and uncle" , who were we to turn down the chance to live up to the title.


We brought her home tired, covered in dirt, and with a smile on her face.

Epic day. Haven't driven the Jeep in two months so just to do that was fun.
Here was my day in pics...

Headed over to the Pinnacles.

Went for a good little hike up to and through the caves and back. Got a little sketchy in a couple spots but otherwise a very easy hike.

Headed back towards home and stopped off for some seafood. Calamari parmesan was the special and went perfect with 2 doubles of Jameson. Lol

Can't finish the day without stopping at my home break.

Hope everyone enjoyed their Father's Day. Now it's time to sleep!! Haha

My Father's Day gift was a Dynomax competition exhaust

And then I got a custom made Poison Spyder evap canister skid when I was installing the exhaust!

I got extended for another week on a work trip to Canada. I dint get to spend Father's Day with my real family, but I did get to hit the trails with my buddy and his.

We went to Mattawa and hit some of the 300 plus kilometers of trails in the Voyager Multi Use Trail System (VMUTS) there.

Nothing too hard. My buddy got himself stuck so I got a chance to try my winch out. Worked great.

Happy Father's Day to all and hope everyone had a great day. Been looking for over a year and couldn't find one that I wanted or wasn't a rust bucket, but... Finally and my wife said get it! Happy Father's Day !
