GregMort13's new build thread

Slow and steady my build is, hoping to getting around lifting it next week, working on getting my tires mounted on the slabs this week. Moneys tight ever since i moved out of my parents house. I just wanna double check with the experts (you guys) that what I'm planning will work out.

So....

My plan for this week is to mount my 37x13.5r17 used toyos i have on my slabs. Plan on taking my time and making sure they're mounted right.

Next weekend, if the weather cooperates, in hoping to install my evo enforcer lift. Previously, i had purchased 4" springs for my JKU but now that i have a 2 door, ORE being the awesome people they are, are letting me ship back the 4" for 3" plush rides.

So once the tires are mounted, and new springs are received, Sherman will find his home on jack stands while me and my dad install our first lift kit.

My plan is to do...
3" enforcer lift
ATX slabs
37x13.5r17 toyos
Evo Drag link flip

Im hoping after everything's installed, ill have cut my fenders and removed the rear bumper and am working on purchasing a stubby instead of cutting the stock one(i promised a guy at work he could have my stock front bumper bc his wife rear ended someone)

Once its lifted and new tires installed, I'm hoping Sherman can fight through the 37s and 3.21s for a week or two only being driven to work and back before i have the money for gears and c gussets.

Once i have new gears, next on my list is a front DS, then a rear DS and rear upper arms.

Once as this is done, he will be ready for a trip to Rausch creek and work on exploding my d30 intime for a prorock 44 next year.

So my questions are...

Has anyone driven with 3.21 gears and 37s before? Is it do able?

Ill be okay just on the pavement with stock DSs right?

I wont bend my front axle Cs driving for a week or two without gussets just on the roads will i?

Any advice from you guys would be awesome!

I don't think Im missing anything?

I have done it with a standard, all i can say is it sucks lol. I drove it 80 miles a day to work and wheeled it a bunch of times as well. It can be done but you will want a near future regear, I made it 6 months before i ponied up and got my gears.

you can bend them!

Got bored at lunch today so i decided to skip my afternoon nap and bolt up my rock rails! Thanks again sean!

Alright so everything officially arrived yesterday and the install has begun. Ran into a snag today and only got the rear half of the lift installed. Could of swore i read the nut to the yoke of the DS is Inch and a quarter but my socket doesn't fit. I have to go buy one that does. Install will continue tomorrow! Forgot to snap a picture!
