Caught the Bug
Alright guys, as much as it killed me to do, I'm trading my 10A in at the end of January. I know how hard these jeeps are to come by and it kills me to get rid of it. Fortunately, all the good that comes out of my trading this in overwhelms the bad. My payments are going from 494.37 to 257 a month. This 250$ difference has gotten me approved for an extra 30,000 on a mortgage. Being 22 years old, growing up hits you fast and its unfortunately what had to be done.
Now for the good! I have a Tank 2015 2 door sport on the way! Fell in love with the color and added on the dual top package and bluetooth connectivity. Shes going to be a 6sp.
In the garage i have waiting for her...
-Evo enforcer w/ draglink flip and bilstein 5100s
-Atx Slabs
-37" toyos
-evo protek system
-my custom fuse and relay box and a couple leds

Could use some help naming her and use some advice since I'm going to be new owning a two door.

Can i get away with the stock driveshafts after lifting her and just cruising the streets until i get some more money for the shafts before i wheel it?

My 10a will be available at Pellegrino jeep in Woodbury, NJ towards the end of January if anyone has been looking for a 10a. Her name is RubyAnn and i would rather see one of you guys scoop her up instead of just anyone.

Look forward to building up the new one!

Congrats again Greg! Super pumped for you!

Since you will be moving down to the 3" plush rides yea you will be fine on the street and even a trail ride or two on the stock shaft

Okay, thanks again steve. Just to be clear. Eventually i should go 1350 front and back right? I thought on two doors you had to replace front and rear shaft?

Yep since you will be doing 37's you want 1350 front and rear due to the shorter wheel base

Congrats Sir. I've still got that SWR meter and some other CB stuff if you're still interested.

I say name it Patton since it is a tank. I work just down the road from the armor school.

Those are both tanks named after generals. I love the old sherman tanks. Abrams just doesn't sound right for a jeep, but is a mean tank and a family of generals.

Just did a quick search up on the internet and found the m104 wolverine. Its a tank with a deployable bridge, basically meaning it can cross anything. I like the way that sounds 😏

The new jeep is home! Still trying to finalize a name. I like sherman. I just need a girl name. All my vehicles are girls ;) ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1422823562.429714.jpg took her to work today and shes hanging out with my other baby 😍ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1422823610.057446.jpg
