Yeah, thought about it. The truck bed liner is already pretty grippy so I'm hoping that will work well. If not, not sure what next steps are. It's not smooth, so I don't think the 3M tape would adhere that well to it. I'll post updates here with my thoughts once they're mounted up.

Mine are tubular as well (custom made) and have the truckbed coating. Last year, there was a thin layer of ice that I didn't see. I was stepping out of the Jeep and my foot slid on the ice. Just out of reaction, I grabbed the door armrest with my left hand, but I still came crashing down and hit my right elbow on the slider. It hurt like hell, really bad. So definitely test it out as the weather get's colder, especially having a wife with kids in her arms. I may even heat mine up and try to stamp it with a textured hammer or something at some point just in the step area.

Dang. That sounds painful. Maybe this RockHard cage is a necessity so my wife has something to hold when getting in and out! I mean, for the safety of our family! 😂

Looks great! Can't wait to see your lift on 37's next. Also, do you have long extension brake lines yet? I don't think I saw them in there - definitely something to think about with that extra flex. :thumb:

No, still have stock brake lines but we changed the angle on a few to allow for the flex. No issues when up on the forklift. Long term may switch out to some braided lines but no need right now.
