I was paying $3.69 during the ten days I spent in Carson City.Just wish the housing prices had that differential.

Wife and I were up in the Tahoe area Wednesday, Thursday. Over by sand harbor it was 5.99 a gallon. Found fuel for 4.99 in state line and once we were down by south lake it was 5.59

Was just commenting to my wife the first time in about three and a half years it’s under three bucks a gallon at least around here.

and Phillips 66 is shutting down its LA refinery. How, why do so many keep voting for this shit? or is it they allow illegals to vote in local elections that's keeping them in power?

Fuckin pisses me off to see stupid shit like this and hate how we get punished by idiotic things that Kalifornia does!
That said, eastern Nevada must get their gas from elsewhere because they're prices are typically much lower. Not that things are horrible now but last I checked, the Costco in Carson City had regular at about $3.40 but out in Ely, it is only $3.08

Can't just pull out of refineries in Commieville and move them.
There are limited places they can be built and new restrictions make it almost not worthwhile to build new refineries.
On existing refineries there are certain units that when they need a certain percentage of work, they have to be redone to new codes.
And, unless it's changed (I doubt it) HF units have to be completely shut down permanently if specific parts of it need replaced.
