Fog lights not working -solved

I have an 05 LJ. I replaced the multifunction switch a few years ago and all was fine. Recently the fogs stopped working again. I swapped fuses and relays and after those were eliminated figured it was the multifunction switch again. Just put the switch in and nada. I need to put a meter on some connections to see if I have power. But has anyone had this happen? The only item I have not swapped is the multifunction relay on the unit. But I think if that failed other lights would not work. But all other lights function normally. Any input would be appreciated.

Follow up, I now realize the relay on the switch is the flasher. I just checked and the dash light indicator does not come on. Could this be one of the instances where if the dash indicator light fails it takes the lights with it?
 
Well, I’m persistent if nothing else. I went out and pushed on the column harness and they turned on. I’ll have to pull it apart and check the pins.
