It looks great...and yes, investing in a jeep is a wise investment...not for the financial return. The grins and giggles over the years are more than worth it...

Factory M38A1 has a lever for low and high on the tcase. one is lock the front axle into the case.
The third lever is for a overdrive that was installed on the tcase.
Basically every gear (1,2,3) has a high and low. So when you’re 1st low, shove the lever forward and it’s 1st high. Same with the rest of the gears.
It’s more or less makes the Jeep a 6 speed.

Most people don’t use it that way, they just shift through the gears like normal. Once you’re in 3rd, kick it to OD.
