Agreed.

Woke is strong. Feelings and intentions are so much easier than action and accomplishments. Individuals like Newsome know the power of emotion and have made a living off of it. Being ‘caring’ and sympathetic is easy. Being truthful, holding people accountable is now considered ‘mean’. Having a merit based system is hard when emotion is the currency. A boss and mentor of mine used to say: “It’s easy to be easy. It’s hard to be hard.”

Let me add, I feel really bad for the normal people that have lost, or are going to lose, their homes. I’m not trying to take anything away from them. Just believe outrage and action of these fucked up policies is long overdue.

Crazy story about one such policy. As you know I live in redding, just south of lake Shasta. That lake is one of the primary water sources that feed the Sacramento river that is sustaining that little fucking fish. A few years ago the water was too warm down river and was threatening that little shit. What did the admin do to combat this serious issue? They placed a number of monstrous water chillers at the foot of the dam that would pump water out, chill it and then return the water back into the warm river. They ran these things for months! They actually believed they were going to cool the water down to affect the temperature downstream. I’m sure they “felt” like it was going to help. Stupid mfers.

Yeah I do feel sorry for the normal folks there. It seems the government there just looks for ways to waste taxpayer money. Really think a lot of the issues too come from folks who had enough (like me) and move away. Leaving only loony leftists behind who continue to wreak their havoc. I’ve said it before I truly miss living in California and would move back in a heart bet if I thought it could be turned around. When the jerkinator became gov I thought maybe but he turned out to be just another worthless rino. Yeah he talks conservative and acts like a damn liberal. Not that I trust conservatives to actually believe in limited government but they at least pretend that’s what they want. Don’t know what the answer is. Maybe splitting the state into two or three smaller states but I doubt that would ever happen.

I’ve been trying to do some digging. Seen a lot of things posted online and a lot of folks outraged.

I had no idea this was the case, but apparently the protection of certain mice and fish fall under the endangered species act. Read this in an article yesterday that said the act was some federal law enacted in 1973 and states are required to follow. So I looked up the act. Article also mentioned how much federal forest land there is in CA. State can’t maintain fed forests. Not sure what to make of it all as lots of finger pointing from everyone in gov.

Seems there should be some sort of exemption when human life is at stake, rather than saving mice and fish. I don’t care who, but someone needs to step up with common sense before more shit happens. Walk and chew gum. Thousands of properties and growing number of lives lost. Like you said, we need to look at state and fed policies!
