Fallen Heros Jeep - Eddie is Anti-Veterans

Below are some of the red flags that really stick out from his "Lets clear the air" post on his site. He continues to (and smartly so) provide the loosest of details, his verbiage used is vague, very non-pointed, specifically trying to not be specific. This is used when an individual is being untruthful, has no hard data to back up any claims and cannot provided any factual measure of effectiveness of his efforts.

....I am always looking for different groups to spread the word to about the Fallen Heroes Jeep and our cause which is to help raise awareness for different troop charities.

....It is to attend different events and raise awareness for smaller troop related charities that most people probably don’t even know exist.

....We asked that people make a donation for a troop charity instead of paying for the keychain. We were very fortunate and the Jeep community at the event helped us raise $421. 100% of that donation was passed onto the charity.

....we are thinking of trying it again in late July with a car wash for another small troop related charity.

The repetitive use of the buzzwords "troop charity" do not match up with the name "fallen" heroes jeep. The name of his site is "Fallen Heroes Jeep" which by definition is bringing attention to those Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines who were killed in action. Providing charitable donations to the families, spouses and children of those fallen men and women is definitely a noble cause, however he is trying to raise awareness for different "troop charities" which means exactly what?????

Can I get a temperature reading here....?

A lot of people commenting on FB are stating the guy is a vet and as such shouldn't be questioned. Am I wrong in thinking, yeah you served our country, thank you, but when you return to society it's expected you follow the same rules and laws as everyone else? You don't get a free pass to be a douche because you served, right? Just making sure I'm not crazy in my reaction to many of the comments people are posting.

How dare you be so disrespectful with a post like this?

Yep, exactly.

I love how he was told he had to remove his sticker to participate in a run that took weeks 2 weeks ago.

Apparently he already has the DeLorean and only has to hit 88mph AND remove his stickers to participate in the run...

Fucktard...

Exactly. And he is not organizing anything. He is showing up at other people's events, nothing more. I am dumbfounded by the fact that people cannot see through this b.s. Is there a name for a single real charitable organization anywhere on this guy's Jeep? All I see are the names of aftermarket parts manufacturers and a shop. His website doesn't have the names of real charitable organizations. So how in the hell is he "getting the word out" about anything?

To be clear, this guy had NO intensions of ever joining us on any run past or future. His only point was to self-righteously condemn me for having the decal rule. He could have just left it at that but no, he had to keep pushing the issue and make me look like a bad guy. Well, now my sights are on him.

That's what I'm seeing and I'm really troubled that so many of his supporters aren't taking just two seconds of their time to really think about this.

I am having a soap box moment here so skip if you want....

I am VERY thankful for the men and women that fight for our country and freedoms. While I never served, many close to me have. My grandfather (who was more of my Dad) served in WW2. I never once heard him ask for special treatment. In fact, he was sickened when he heard it coming from some service men/women before his death.

My point is that there seems to have been a shift in attitude in service members. My grandfather viewed it as a privilege to serve his country and expected/wanted nothing in return. Many of todays military seem to expect special treatment for something they volunteered to do. Don't get me wrong... I'm not ungrateful, but I am tired of having someone's service rubbed in my face as if I owe them something special.

Perhaps this is because supporting troops has become a popular tag to gain social acceptance. Lord knows we (as a nation) dropped the ball on supporting troops during Vietnam, but it seems we may have gone to the other extreme where now some service people feel entitled to special things/treatment for their service.

Again, I'm not saying I am not in support of our military, I AM! But issues like this actually work negatively on me and sour my taste toward supporting things like this. This is why I admire Eddie's stance. If he was a real non-profit none of this would've likely been an issue. But since he isn't and got called out on it.... Eddie and all affiliated with him are the enemy? WTF America!

Couple interesting tidbits... for a guy not having the extra $$$ to build his Jeep he certainly has a nice 92" TV.

Also looks like he had a previously failed endeavor's decal on his windshield. Man for a guy supporting fallen troops via charity with a Jeep, you'd think that'd be the reason for buying the Jeep initially and have that plastered on the windshield day 1...and why not buy the Jeep in army green to begin with?

Classic. You really can't make this stuff up.

Well you know, a 92" large screen TV is critical in bringing awareness to smaller troop charities. :naw:

So, I know all you trolls are looking at this thread, please take a moment to chime in with more of your hate :yup:

ohh look i made the screen shot! lol

and it looks like the trolls are watching closely because there are a lot of guests on today. will we hit a new record for most people on in a day?

Unfortunately, they are the same ol' trolls with no lives and so no, I don't think we'll be hitting any records today.
